Otherwise is there to be no working group, and do individual members / clubs investigate possible venue scenarios? A: The Terms of Reference that were published were the original ones, intended to show readers the thoroughness of the instructions that were given to the Working Group, and for the information of anyone who wanted to make any new suggestions. As we own our own venue in Auckland AEC it would make sense to use our own venue and facilities. I would rather us as an organisation put money back into our own pockets rather than a third commercial party. A subsidy for inter Island travel should be considered to ease the financial burden on our members. This can be in turn subsidised by sponsorship from the ferry companies. There are many new ways of looking at our operations that have never before been even considered. Of course we should have one National Dog Show logistic committee. That way we don’t need to reinvent the wheel every year. We learn and continuously improve. Just like Crufts.
